Hey, definitely interested. Would you be willing to share your typical shoe size for some common brands? I wear a ton of Mammut gear because it's typically sized perfect for taller folks, but I've yet to come across any Mammut boots in person...or at least not in sizes larger than a US 12.
Are you familiar with your fitsizing for any of the following? These seem to be the brandsshoe types that have a very consistent fit for me...
-Merrell hiking shoes or boots
-Nike running shoes sneakers
-New balance running shoes sneakers
-Mens dress shoes that use a size and width code (ie: 13D for a standard width 13...or 13E for a wide 13, 13EEE for an extra wide). I ask this last one as w wide brands or shoe types I can sometimes move down to a size 12 or 12.5, but typically need a size 13 due to the width of my toes.
I won't bother with climbing shoe sizing because that's such a crapshoot with personal preference for toe crunching.
Thanks for your email; I’ll have to write concisely to stay within my 500 character limit. I have a size 48 pair of Merrell hiking boots that fit great but the volume is almost too big. With superfeet greens the eyelets are pretty close together when laced tight. I wear size 48 Scarpa Mont Blanc Pros and 48 La Sportiva Trango Tech GTX with the superfeet greens as well. I’ve never bought dress shoes labeled wide or narrow, just regular. Cycling shoes and city shoes(Scarpa mojito) are 47.
