they are adjustable to fit boots between 305mm to 365mm and can easily be adjusted with a philips head screwdriver

That's exactly what they are designed for. Allows use of a downhill boot in uphill situations. This is going to be a heavier setup going up hill than a tech binding but you are going to have a better ski experience on the way back down
