Coming in at a claimed weight of almost 26g lighter than the Aliante R1 Versus Evo, this is the one to have if you seek comfort and chase grams. The saddle's stiff, high modulus full carbon shell and Mobius carbon rails ensure no watts are wasted, yet offers a comfortable ride over bumpy roads.

The saddle's body uses its Versus Evo construction, which provides the benefit of a pressure relieving center channel for the soft tissue, keeping you pedaling comfortably for hours at a time, while the full carbon shell is tuned for maximum power transfer. Two sizes cater specifically to your body stature and power output on the road. Since it's shell is made entirely from carbon, the 00's Versus Evo saves some weight over the R1, which features carbon injected nylon.

In Fi'zi:k's Spine Concept estimation of cyclists-as-animals, the Aliante is designed for bulls. Bulls have a relatively rigid spine and tend to rotate their pelvises forward when they ride, an adjustment that requires a saddle with a larger, deeper pocket.
