Osprey Advent

Heavy duty, high volume backpacking and mountaineering pack with Osprey's funtctional design and comfortable harness. This vintage top-of-the line model has capacity above 5000 cu. in./82 liters. Top lid can be removed to pair with removable waist belt to function as a large day hike fanny back. 

"Taco" system opens the entire back of the pack for easy access, and outer netting and straps permits hauling of oversize/odd-size loads. Frame is plastic sheet within a sleeve and nylon rod along each side. Purchased in 1988 and barely used since, this pack is in excellent condition:  all zippers and buckles are in excellent, and no flaws, holes, rips, or other damage to note.   

Size XL pack fits torsos 22” and over. Size L belt fits waist 34”- 40”. Despite its vintage, this is a great pack with many miles ahead- it has always just been too large for me (6'-1") so I am letting go.
