Light, stiff in ski mode, so flexy in walk mode, tragically too small for my feet. Details from Dynafit:
A boot like no other, the Hoji PX is a fresh and new design from Dynafit. The Hoji integrates smooth and fast transitions with a stiffer and more well rounded touring boot.
The Hoji Ski/Walk mechanism is a one lever walk mode that pops you in to a fully free pivot motion, which feels similar to many rando race boots but once locked feels like a true downhill boot. The forward motion is virtually limitless, while the rearward motion is more than enough for even the flattest of roads. This one buckle system is what makes this boot the do all touring boot. In addition, the Dynafit has added the Speed Nose technology to deliver a more natural and smoother step when skinning.
The whole reason you need a ski boot is to get down right? Well the Hoji is no stranger to aggressive downhill turns, no matter the conditions. The Hoji offers a smooth transition between uphill and downhill, and maintains it stiffness with very little behind the inner workings.
With the Use of Pebex versus a the Grilamid in the Pro Tour, the Hoji PX has a much more pliable build and can be molded to any shape foot. The Pebax allows for a slightly softer flex from the Grilamid, but still is stiff enough to ski hard day in day out. Coming in at 1400g, Size 24, the Hoji PX is light, Fast and all you need for your next adventure.
