Product Information

Prior says The Fissile Split is for powder connoisseurs of the finest order, and they describe the board as being for Powder of all kinds combined with tight trees, chutes and open bowls. The Fissile has a huge, soft, long nose, and a very narrow waist, and it makes for a super nimble powder hog. I've had some incredible days on Teton Pass between Jackson Hole & Victor, ID and around Lolo Peak outside of Missoula, MT.  The 6.5M turning radius makes it a carving machine. The nose makes it a buttery floating experience, and the length combined with camber under foot turn you into a climbing monster who will make friends jealous (and tired keeping up). Riding this thing is as close as I've come to feeling like I'm surfing on snow as this board makes those sharp turns and slashes like you see in surfing competitions.

I'm including some almost new G3 High Traction climbing skins ($180 new) that are already cut perfectly to the board.

Questions

Question

How many seasons are on this board? Thank you

Answer

The board had years on it, but I'm sorry to say, it doesn't have many days on snow. Probably talking 5 or 6 days. The top-sheet has some scuffs on it bc switchbacks and bushes will do that, but the base is in great shape. Some insignificant grooves from bushes. The camber is still very snappy too. I take good care of my stuff. For the price - with skins - its a pretty killer deal.

Question

What year model is this?

Answer

I honestly don't know for sure. I think its maybe 8 years old, but like I said - hardly used.
