For mountaineering or ice climbing, the Women’s Salewa Ortles Light Down Jacket provides a secure, ultralight layer for weatherproof protection and warmth. This jacket utilizes a free motion pattern construction, so the jacket won’t leave your back exposed when you’re reaching overhead. The Pertex Quantum Ripstop outer has a DWR finish and provided windproof protection on high alpine exposures. The 750-fill duck down is warm and compresses down small so it can be stowed in its own bag and tucked in a corner of your pack.
