Brand new in plastic - 165cm
Intermediate skiers will love the lightweight performance of the DPS Uschi 82 Alchemist. There's nothing like the feeling of having nothing on your feet as you rocket down the slopes. At 82 mm underfoot, the skis are definitely better suited for the trails, but can also venture into well-travelled woods and moguls with no problems whatsoever. With the Alchemist construction, the Uschi 82 has a wood core with two sheets of carbon. This results in a stable, strong, and light feeling in the skis that no other company can really touch. With a shorter turn radius, the Uschi 82 prefers to be on edge making clean, round turns. The skier is able to dictate the length and duration of the turns because DPS makes these skis with a progressive turn radius in mind. The skis have more of a five-point sidecut, so the widest parts of the skis are not quite at the ends. This tip and tail taper allows the skis to have a shorter turn radius based on length. Thanks to this technology, you the skier have more input as to the shape of the arc that you are producing. The harder you push into the ski, the shorter the turn. You will not, however, be skidding these turns-the progressive turn radius takes care of that. The edge grip is tremendous thanks to the full sidewall construction-you'll be able to grip and rip the hard pack no matter what. The 2019 DPS Uschi 82 is ushering in a whole new way of seeing and skiing the groomers, one clean turn at a time.
