Questions

Question

Hi, would you suggest this jacket can be used as a ski shell?

Answer

Hello and thanks for your question! I checked on the Vima 3L from Helly Hansen and it is more of a do-it-all piece when it comes to fighting off inclement weather. It has high waterproof and breathability ratings and is a hard shell jacket that is best suited for hiking, climbing and mountaineering. It could be used in a ski setting if you layer appropriately underneath though I would say it does better in the backcountry skiing aspect than resort skiing. I hope this answer helps!
