Questions

Question

Hi I just order the kingpin 10 new 2019 bindings. The tracking # may not be correct. I am just checking in about that! Thanks Hannah

Answer

Hi Hannah! the tracking number is correct (i double checked)! I will close out my UPS program in a few minutes and you should be able to see it. Hope that helps!

Question

Great!! Thanks so much!!

Answer

Of course!

Question

What is the serial number on the toe unit? I ask because the Marker kingpin 10 recalled toe units have heel units with serial numbers on the back in the following ranges: Kingpin 10 (337804 – 418632) and Kingpin 13 (337798 – 411728). Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using these bindings and return them to a Marker authorized retailer to obtain a free replacement toe unit.

Answer

this unit has a heel with serial number #502095. model number 7734Q1MA. I believe this unit is the model year after the recall. these are 2019's, recall was in 2018

Question

Does the demo aspect add much weight? What is the total weight on these?

Answer

I couldn't find an exact measurement online but everything I've read is it adds about 100 grams per binding which totals about 760 grams per bining

Question

Can the demo track be removed?

Answer

no unfortunately the toe and heel cannot be mounted without the track

Question

What's the adjustment range for the BSL on these demo bindings?

Answer

The plates go from 264mm-356mm

Question

Do you have more than one set of these left

Answer

I have a few of these, yes

Question

Hey there, would these fit a 95mm width ski?

Answer

Hi! Yes they would

Question

do these have the crampon adaptor?

Answer

yes. it has the same crampon slot that the non-demo version of the binding has

Question

wow that was fast! (anychance you have some 90mm crampons for them?) Follow up questions - this model has the step in guide at the front right? those 2 pieces that pop up to line up the pins?

Answer

I do no have any crampons at the moment unfortunately : and I'm not sure what you mean by "step in guide" but the front of the toe has a raised plastic piece that's designed to stop the boot from going too far forward when stepping in and goes away by engaging the boot. maybe were talking about the same thing!

Question

Will this binding work with SCOTT WOMEN'S PHANTOM ALPINE TOURING SKI BOOT? Do the boots require a DIN heel adapter?

Answer

Looking at the boot, I don't see why it wouldn't work. The Marker heel is their tour heel and not a pin volcano so I would no adapter would be required

Question

I think you were the one I recently bought a set of Marker Kingpin 10 demo bindings from. Order #489040-1. Unfortunately, the box was damaged en route, and both heal pieces must have fallen out. I was wondering what type of shipping insurance you normally put on your items when you ship them. Look forward to hearing back from you. I also let Geartrade know, so they will probably reach out to you as well. TG

Answer

Hi there. I don't think that was me as I don't have any record of that order number and haven't sold a Demo 10 since December but please email me at skipro09@gmail.com and I can try and help

Question

Ok, must have been someone else on here. Sorry to bother you. I will wait to hear back from the Geartrade folks.

Answer

awesome! I hope it all works out for you

Question

Hello, I have a pair of Garmont Radium boots, 26.5, kind of a few years old, wondering if these bindings would work with these boots. Thanks

Answer

Do your boots have pin toe and heels?

Question

Hi, Features Tech components in front and back give the boot Dynafit and G3 Onyx binding compatibility; Garmont Radium boots are also compatible with step-in style randonee bindings. That's what I found online for info. I

Answer

I'm 99% sure you should be good but if in some scenario you are not, I would gladly accept a return
