King sized walk-in altitude tent (Colorado Altitude Training) CAT's systems duplicate the reduced oxygen availability found at high altitude by lowering the percentage of oxygen in the air. For example, a CAT system will reduce the oxygen content from 20.9% to 15.2% to simulate 9,000 feet at sea level. A great device for hypoxic sleeping, training, working or adjusting for an upcoming altitude trip. I used this for several years as a professional athlete and now it is time for someone else to get the benefit.
CAT's simulated altitude systems have two main components:
Altitude Air Generator: provide the maximum air flow possible. The desired altitude is achieved quickly and maintained comfortably with a stream of fresh low-oxygen air. This unit is capable of adjusting altitude up to 12,000 feet. I used a pulse oximeter as a double check, to get the exact altitude needed based on my own blood oxygen levels.
The Enclosure: 7'6" long x 9'6" wide x 6' high. It’s easily installed in your bedroom, office or home gym, with all the posts for assembly and hoses to/from the base unit to the tent included. Has two zippered “doors” to enter the tent. A king-sized bed will fit with room to spare for a television, table, lamp, etc.
