Western Mountaineering Kodiak SDL Sleeping bag, 0F
Down Sleeping Bags Product Information
For sale is an absolutely mint Western Mountaineering Kodiak Super Dryloft (SDL) sleeping bag in size "extra long" (7 feet). In case you don't know: Western Mountaineering Bags are the best (and most expensive) sleeping bags on the market.
I am the original owner: The bag has been used for about 8-10 nights and it has been stored in our smoke free house in the original storage sack while it was not in use. It is cosmetically absolutely perfect (no rips or cuts) and absolutely clean.
I am reluctantly selling it because my mountaineering days are over (baby is on the way).
Specs: 7' long, 67" (shoulder girth), 58" (hip girth), 41" (foot girth); 32 oz. of down fill, 7" of loft, continuous baffles, draft tube, super collar, highly water and wind resistant due to SuperDryloft outer fabric (made by 'Gore' - the same company that invented GoreTex).
Retail cost: $700 - (yes, that's no joke).
Important: Since I am leaving town, I'll cancel the listing on 9/14 in the evening. If anyone wants to buy it, please do so today because tomorrow is the last day for me to ship it.
QUESTION: Hi,I had a couple questions about the storage of the bag. When you say original storage sack, are you referring to the mesh sack, or the compression storage sage. Also, where did you use the bag
ANSWER: The bag was stored in the original storagesack (the storagesack is huge and takes up an enormous amount of space). I used the bag to climb Mt. Rainier (twice) and to climb Mt. Baker (once).
QUESTION: Hey, is this bag still for sale
ANSWER: Yes, however, I'll cancel the listing on 9
QUESTION: Would you take $300 for this bag
ANSWER: No, sorry - the bag is worth much more than that (and I think you know that).
QUESTION: How about $302.50, bottom dollar!
ANSWER: Sorry, no. If you want it, but please buy it today.
