The Burton Mens SLX Snowboard Boot looks like something youd see on a Storm Trooper, and for good reason: its from the future. This mid-stiff freestyler has it all. First of all, the Imprint 5 liner is pre-wired for Thermic packs (sold separately). This kickass system lets you warm your boots in the car and on-hill, giving you total control over the temperature. The liner also features the J-Bar Adjustable Heel Hold System. Add or remove the J-Bars to get the level of heel lock-down thats right for you. EZ Entry panels reduce friction so you dont feel like youre trying to shove your foot into your cat. Burton tricked out the SLX with Speed Zone lacingjust pull the handles and youre good to go. The Power Spine 3.0 backstay offers Burtons highest level of lateral and medial response, and the B3 gel and EVA midsoles offer high-impact cushioning that wont break down. Fall/Winter 2008
