The T2's are the most popular backcountry boot around. This year the T2's gotten even better with a Thermoflex liner which can be custom-molded to your foot, new micro-adjustable buckles and an integrated, removable spoiler with power strap. The new liner is significantly lighter, saving over 1 lb. per pair over last years boot. The women’s liner is built on a narrower last. Created specifically for a woman's musculature, this boot is NOT just a scaled-down version of the men's T2. Rather, it was designed from the ground up around a woman's foot, built on a leaner, lower-profile last. Any good downhill ski shop should have trained knowledgeable staff to assist you with thermoflex fitting. The spoiler increases the height of the boot to add power when skiing in-area or on steep runs when a little extra support is appreciated, but is removable to increase range of motion while touring. A dual-injection plastic torsion beam adds rigidity without a "hinge" effect. An asymmetrical bellows allows for a more natural forward flex. The forward lean lock lever is easier to use. It’s still flexible and light enough for walking and comfortable touring, but supportive enough to control the big skis. Three buckles and a power strap tighten the shell around your foot securely, eliminating slop. Adjustable forward lean lets you tune the angle to 19 degrees, setting you comfortably over your skis. These boots were used 1 season, have minor scratches on shell and are in very good condition. Killer deal.
