Hi,
Both feature a seat that gets you up out of the water and allows for greater visiblility and drier fishing.
The FishCat has an inflatable seat, and the Cumberland has a foam seat.
The construction of the FishCat in my opinion is inferior. The Fishcat has 600-denier PVC bottom and the Cumberland has a 1,100-denier PVC bottom for superior abrasion resistance resistance.
Both have two Cargo Pockets and Drink holders The Cumberland also has 8 organizer pockets,
Features listed for the Cumberland and not listed for the Fishcat
a rod holder, Rear mesh storage deck, lash tabs and D rings for extra storage,
Adjustable backpack Straps (air it up at the car and pack it in comfortably)
The fishcat carries a 5 year warranty and the Cumberland carries a 1 year warranty.
At Cabelas the retail on the fishcat is $265 and the retail on the Cumberland is $209.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I do not know if you are value minded or if the 5 year warranty impresses you.
I am biased as I do not carry the fish cat and will leave it to that. |
